Department of Science, Technology & Environment, Government of Tripura is the host department of Tripura State Pollution Control Board. The Department of Science, Technology & Environment is headed by:-

  1. Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister & Minister, Science, Technology & Environment Department.
  2. Shri Khushwant Singh Sethi, IFS, Principal Secretary, Science, Technology & Environment Department.
  3. Shri Animesh Das, IAS,  Director,Science, Technology & Environment Department.

Board Administration

The Administration of Tripura State Pollution Control Board is headed by the Chairman, Prof. Basant Kumar Agarwala and Member Secretary, Dr. Bishu Karmakar under the leadership of Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minster, Department of Science, Technology & Environment, Government of Tripura.

Tripura State Pollution Control Board has three offices in the State. The Head Office is situated at Agartala, West Tripura along with two Zonal Offices in two Districts looking after the entire State. The South Zonal Office and Laboratory is situated at Udaipur, Gomati District and the North Zonal Office and Laboratory at Kumarghat, North Tripura District.
